Contests Rules Reserves

State Eligibility

Where you can play Turf Totals, and how we enforce it.

Turf Totals offers paid-entry contests of skill. State law on paid skill-based contests varies, so paid entry is not available everywhere. If you are located in an excluded state you may browse the site, but you cannot enter paid contests.

Excluded states

Paid contest entry is currently not available in the following U.S. states:

  • Arizona AZ
  • California CA
  • Hawaii HI
  • Idaho ID
  • Louisiana LA
  • Montana MT
  • Nevada NV
  • Washington WA

This list is published directly from the same setting our enforcement system reads, and it may change as state law and guidance evolve. The list above is always current.

Age requirements

You must be of legal age to participate in skill-based contests in your state: 18 or older in most states, 19+ in Alabama and Nebraska, and 21+ in Iowa, Massachusetts, and Virginia. Every new account attests to this at signup.

How eligibility is enforced

  • We determine your approximate location by IP geolocation when you enter a contest or move funds. Users located in an excluded state are blocked from those actions.
  • Using a VPN, proxy, or any other means to misrepresent your location violates our Terms of Service and may result in account suspension and forfeiture of entries.
  • If you believe you were blocked in error, contact alex@turfmonster.media and we will review it.
